By accessing or using ScoreReel ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not use our service.

2. Description of Service

ScoreReel is a web-based tool that allows users to upload sheet music images and audio to generate video files. The Service is provided "as is" for lawful purposes only.

3. Account Registration

  • You must provide accurate information when registering.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must be at least 13 years of age to use this service.

4. Credits and Payments

  • Credits are required to generate full-length, unwatermarked videos. Users without credits may generate 1 free SD video (up to 4 minutes, watermarked) every 24 hours.
  • All purchases are final and non-refundable unless required by applicable law.
  • We do not sell physical goods. All transactions are for digital credits redeemable within the Service.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe and subject to their terms of service.
  • Promo codes may be issued at our discretion and may expire or be limited in use.

5. Content and Copyright

  • You must own or have the legal right to use all content you upload (images, audio, MusicXML files).
  • You retain ownership of your uploaded content and generated videos.
  • You grant ScoreReel a limited license to process your content solely for the purpose of generating your requested video.
  • We are not responsible for copyright infringement arising from content you upload.

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload content that infringes on third-party intellectual property rights.
  • Upload harmful, illegal, or offensive content.
  • Attempt to circumvent the credit system or access the service fraudulently.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.
  • Use automated means to access the Service without permission.

7. Intellectual Property

The ScoreReel brand, website design, and underlying software (excluding open-source components, which are licensed separately under their respective licenses) are proprietary. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute them.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that generated videos will meet specific quality requirements.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScoreReel shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

10. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your credits are forfeited.

11. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States.
